Reamde is full of likeable "baddies" I'm just listening to it now and love it.
It was a pleasant listen, but not life changing. The heroine, I think, should have been the strong "wall flowerish" sister of the Woman n White. I just couldn't be convinced of who was the Main character. Who should I barrack for in this drama?
My daughter enjoyed this story. Its a lovely performance. Nothing to deep. A bit of a moral, but all well in the end.
This is just brilliant . An antidote to the: "You tube fodder" that the next Gen. seems to thrive on. (My kids included.)
If you have an opinion on gun ownership; listen to it.
If you hate guns; listen to it.
If you love guns; listen to it.
And hey ... it will only take 60 minutes of your time.
Narrator David Hewson s the real hero of this audiobook. He swallows your heart up whole with his beautiful voice. You are drawn into the events that unfold as unstoppable as Macbeth himself. Macbeth is lost to us us now...but on the way you fall a little in love with him.
My 10 year old daughter and I were enthralled with "The White Tiger."
It was fun, thrilling and refreshing. So we were excited purchase the next 2 books in the trilogy.
What a disappointment!
The Plot line has thinned to the point of ridiculous. In all of my listening and reading adventures, I have never failed to finish a book. Sadly I just cant keep listening to the remainder of Book 3 "Tigers Voyage". I suffered through Book 2 "Tigers Quest" hoping that would get to the interesting bit soon. Alas it was for the most part fruitless, romantic musings. Book 3 is worse. Please dont waste tour credits!
Save your credits for the awesome "14" by Peter Clines or "Deliverance" read by James Patton or the unstoppable thrill ride of "Reamde." There are plenty of good reads and you only have ne set of ears!
My 10 year old daughter and I loved sharing the unfolding of this mysterious and entertaining tale.
A bunch of regular people find them selves bonding with the neighbors you usually smile and wave to ...in order to solve a sequence of little creepy events in a story that is like one of those dreams you wake up trying to remember...
