Life sucks. And, as soon as Sidney picks up the pieces something always knocks her back onto her butt. It's never pretty, but this time is different. This time pretty isn't even the right word. Peter is the personification of perfection. It's like he fell off his angel perch in purgatory, because let's face it - any guy that hot has got to be naughty. He was probably sent here to ruin her life.

Would you try another book from H. M. Ward and/or Jessica Geffen?

Not sure I would try another book from this author, this story is too dry. Narrator was boring, didn't add any substance to the story

Would you ever listen to anything by H. M. Ward again?

    Not sure after this

How did the narrator detract from the book?

A little too slow and boring. Voice doesn't fit in

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Damaged?

    Squirrel in bathroom

    Any additional comments?

Boring cut dry story. Audible credit wasted. I am very surprise this had a 3 average, can't believe it made it to best seller.

    F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic American novel of the Roaring Twenties is beloved by generations of readers and stands as his crowning work. This new audio edition, authorized by the Fitzgerald estate, is narrated by Oscar-nominated actor Jake Gyllenhaal (Brokeback Mountain). Gyllenhaal's performance is a faithful delivery in the voice of Nick Carraway, the Midwesterner turned New York bond salesman, who rents a small house next door to the mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby....
