Kellerman nailed yet another great book in this series. I absolutely completely LOVE this series and am always on pins and needles for his next book. FANTASTIC!
This is one of my favorite series and I hated for it to end bc I know I'll be waiting for the next book. I also REALLY love the narrator's voice, Susan Ericksen! Well done Nora!!
I feel like I wasted 8 hours of my life on this book. The constant 'He said' and 'She said' made for a horrible audio read. The author forced the narrator the speak in monotone since the book is filled with He/She saids. I bought this book bc I absolutely and completely LOVED Robert Crais' book Suspect. I will not be going any further in this series.
I absolutely LOVE the point of view of the dog, Maggie! The entire book was so well done that I had a difficult time stopping when I needed to be working. Very well written and narrated.
This book is absolutely one of the best books I've read! I seriously doubt the movie will come close to the details both small & large that come together in this book. The narrator did a FAB job as well. I particularly enjoyed the unique point of view the author used. Well done indeed!
This was by far one of the most enjoyable books I've read that was not part of my usual genre of murder mystery! Made me want to research more about the children of the Orphan Trains. Very well written and narrated!
Yet another FABULOUS Dallas & Roarke book! The epilogue brought tears to my eyes even. I absolutely love this series & recommend it to all!
Truly one of the most entertaining books I've listened to in YEARS & Jenny reading it totally topped it! I will be gifting this book to several people!
I HATED the add in of music during climatic parts of the book. At some points it was actually hard to hear the narrator! The story line was great, the narrator was good but the music added absolutely made the performance lack luster. That said, I will try more of his books and hope there's not music like that in future books.
Decided to re-read all of SK's books and just HAD to start with The Talisman. Truly an excellent book and Frank Muller's fabulous narration was the icing. (Still miss his voice!)
