A very well written story, and still relevant today. Will Patton does an excellent job in narrating. I did not read this book in high school or college, but it is on my son's summer reading list for high school. I look forward to discussing it with him after he reads it.
This was a long book; however, I kept coming back to it. A great story with suspenseful ending.
Since I am a male, I didn't fully appreciate all of the humor in the book. Kind of like the male writers she describes in her book when she proposed the SNL commercial for Classic Kotex. However, I do not have a jar in my office.
I found it hard to turn off my Ipod because I enjoyed the story so much. Well narrated. I am sure it will be a movie soon.
I have been in the oil and gas industry for over 25 years and now live in Houston. Thus, the story was interesting to me at first. About 3/4 of the way through the reading, I began to lose interest. If you are not in the business or not a Texan, then this book may bore you.
The stories told in this audiobook are different than other erotica I have read or to which I have listened. Not your typical Penthouse letters, which can get repetitive and predictable. While I did not find all of the stories erotic, they did keep my attention because they were well told and different.
