    I agree with earlier reviews. Lynsay Sands is a good writer, but this narrator sounds over breathy and robotic. I will not download the next if it is a the same one...

    What did you love best about The Halo Effect?

    It truly did keep me guessing.


    Who was your favorite character and why?

    Morgan, she was flawed, but still extremely likable.


    What does Phil Gigante and Natalie Ross bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    Both narrators made the characters come to life. Both could do voices of other characters and you knew who they were with out the author naming them. I do enjoy having male and female narrators, make them more believable.


    Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Parts did make me laugh out loud.


    Any additional comments?

    I enjoy almost anything that Phil Gigante does, and he and Natalie Ross truly make a great team. Its fun to have Phil depart from romance, but I hope he doesn't leave it for good!! It would break my Highland lovin heart!

    I fell in love with this fun almost sarcastic take on the whole Vampire books that are the latest rage. I kept reading, and spending my money because the books were just that, light, funny, sweet. Betsy is a somewhat of dumb blonde, but completely enjoyable to read about with her shoe facisnation and relucant whole hearted love for Eric. Problem is the writer completely makes a turn face in this book, and have to say I feel cheated and tricked. If I wanted to read a dark series, I would have. My advice, if you have only read the first 8, leave it there, I can imagine anyone being happy with how she ending this series...

    I have just finished the last of the latest Highlander books, and I must say that KMM is an amazing story teller. I enjoy the science, the history, the Myths, and especially the romance! Never thought of myself as a Romance fan, but Karen has got me HOOKED! I strongly recomend ALL 7 and then, the Fae Series!
