All her life Melody Evans has wanted to marry a plain, average man who doesn’t take risks. But when the foreign embassy is taken over by terrorists and she’s rescued by a daring Navy SEAL, Melody blames the extreme circumstances for their ensuing passion. When it comes to ordinary, Harlan “Cowboy” Jones is anything but, and their encounter leaves Melody with a little more than just memories.

"Great listen from a great author"
    Overall

This is a fantastic story with very believable characters. The narrator only adds to the story! I would definitely recommend this.

Lexi Titan can just see the headlines. All of Titanville will be buzzing. Not that she has any other choice. Faced with exactly thirty days to come up with two million dollars, she is out of options. Marry Cruz Rodriguez or lose everything--the successful day spa she built herself, her tyrant of a father's respect.

mia says: "Great start for the Lone Star Sisters series!"
    "Narrator brought the story down"
    Overall

The book was actually a pretty great story, but I had trouble getting in to it. I found myself wishing I had purchased this as a paperback. The narrator's bad accents made the dialogue shallow and sometimes difficult to follow.
