Red Cell follows Kyra Stryker and Jonathan Burke, two outcasts in the Agency who are brought together in the Red Cell, the agency’s out-of-the-box think tank. Stryker is a young and beautiful agent who’s struggling to recover from a job gone bad, while Burke is a straight-laced analyst who’s pissed off all his colleagues. When a raid on Chinese spies in Taiwan ends in a shootout, CIA Director Cooke turns to the Red Cell to figure out why China is ready to invade the island nation without any fear of reprisal.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I loved the drama. Wasn't sure what to expect since I'd never read anything else by this author, but he sucked me right in in the first chapter. Hard to put down. I loved the fact that he told a gripping story without the foul language and sex that is so commonly found in 'adult' fiction. Kudos to Mark Henshaw for an excellent book that I can wholehearted recommend to my friends and family.

From Shanghai to Wake Island, the Corps was America’s first line of defense as the winds of war exploded into the devastating surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. This is the story of the men of the Marine Corps, their loves and loyalties, an elite fraternity united by courage and honor, as they steel themselves for battle, prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice....

What did you like best about Semper Fi? What did you like least?

The story was great, the characters were great, the historical perspective was amazing. The language FAR too vulgar for my taste and ruined it for me.

The conclusion of the Mistborn trilogy fulfills all the promise of the first two books. Revelations abound, connections rooted in early chapters of the series click into place, and surprises, as satisfying as they are stunning, blossom like fireworks to dazzle and delight. It all leads up to a finale unmatched for originality and audacity that will leave listeners shaking their heads in wonder, as if awaking from an amazing dream.

What made the experience of listening to The Hero of Ages the most enjoyable?

Michael Kramer's performance was great. It was amazing to me that I was able to so easily distinguish between characters just by his voice. Brandon Sanderson was able to wrap up an epic series and tie up all the loose ends, while maintaining the drama and the mystery to the very end. Loved it!

For a thousand years the ash fell and no flowers bloomed. For a thousand years the Skaa slaved in misery and lived in fear. For a thousand years the Lord Ruler, the "Sliver of Infinity," reigned with absolute power and ultimate terror, divinely invincible. Then, when hope was so long lost that not even its memory remained, a terribly scarred, heart-broken half-Skaa rediscovered it in the depths of the Lord Ruler's most hellish prison.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Final Empire to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the book, so I can't really compare the print version to the audio version. But, I thought the performance was excellent and loved that I could pick out who was speaking just by his tone of voice and various accents. Very well done!

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the world Mr Sanderson created; detailed and vivid with creative magic and culture. I also loved the fact that there was no explicit sex, so I could feel comfortable recommending it to younger readers.

Have you listened to any of Michael Kramer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Michael Kramer was excellent as always - this may be one of his better performances.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Towards the end, it got very difficult to hit the pause button - I could barely stand to wait for what was next.

    Any additional comments?

Already deep into Mistborn book 2 and loving it.
