I really enjoyed this audio book. As a Web Designer I am somehow involved with Google every day with search engines, page ranking etc. This book is a good summary of all Google products, where they originated, how they work and the advantages / disadvantages. Really a book I would recommend!
The fact that although this is fiction, drones are a reality, and this story is not as far fetched as one might think.
The detail descriptions of the interaction and communication between all the drones.
I really enjoyed the book, full of action and suspense, with the technical aspects of how drones functions described in detail. As I enjoy gadgets, this is the ultimate sworm of gadgets.
Have no idea
Droning on and on and on... puts you to sleep. No proper subject, all loose ends.
A very good story, full of suspense and drama
Pendergast is my all time hero. Always on top of any situation!
One of my favourites
The 1st murder scene details
Most enjoyable, with a bit of Indian history thrown in!
It is as though the story had short bursts of action, and other parts where your mind tends to wonder off. Not as gripping as some of his other works.
No, unless you have lots of time. You should also concentrate all the time, as he tends to wonder off with the many characters. At times I was a bit lost in the story. Not sure who was who. Although it all comes together at the end, it takes a long time to get there.
Yes. Did not really like the voices of any females.
Yes, to concentrate all the time, or you could loose the plot.
Try something shorter. Pehaps abridged?
Must be the most boring book I have listened to, ever! Listened to the end, but it took great effort to complete the book.
Rather spend your money on some other book.
Really enjoyed the book, where is was impossible for me to guess the next "accident", and what whould happen next.
Fully entertaining, with no dull moments. Suspense to the bitter end!
A good listen, high lighting the devious ways the US Government use to play their "war games". I was hoping for more on UFO's and Aliens, but this really only seems to be a myth. Pitty.
Really enjoyed this book, and kept me in suspence most of the time.
Although some of the other reviews are negative, it is a science fiction story, with a hero, who saved the day (and the planet!).
Money well spent, and safe on my I-pod for a re-listed at some point.
Good story, switching between the present and the past. I enjoyed the peek into the way we lived 700 years ago, and the details of the time. Time travel would really be marvelous, and the author does an excellent job of describing this concept.
