"A little drawn out...."
It was OK, but was longer than it needed to be. I was looking forward to Zacarias' story, but his story was drawn out, a lot of repeated dialogue. The story made you feel a little like you rewound the MP3 player because you heard the same story line numberous times. Maybe there is a minimum on pages/hours required by the publisher to account for the repeated information. The book could have been maybe 5 hours shorter. I have been a long time fan of the Dark Series, Drake Sisters, and Ghostwalkers, but I am starting to see a trend of the books becoming drawn out. I would like to see more interaction with the other Carpathian's like in previous stories, this would better fill the space than the repetitive lines.
"Pretty Good"
This one had a few to many story lines. I found myself dong some fast forwarding. This one does give you the Quinn and Blah story we have all been waiting for.
"Good, but not The Nightwalker Series"
It was good, but it just took a little while to get into the story. It didn't capture your attention immediately the way the Nightwalkers did. I would have probably liked it better if I had not already listented to the Nightwalker Series. The narrator left a little to be desired after the awesome narration of Xe Sands in the Nightwalkers.
All in all it was pretty good.
"Noah w/ XeXe Sands=Winner"
I have listened to this one numerous times, and I love it each time. The story is addicting, and add XeXe, you got a winner. Although I like some of the other series, none compares to the Nightwalkers!
"Snore!!"
Luv Christine Feehan, but I wanted my money back for this one. I wrote here directly because I was too disappointed with this one. The book was very drawn out unneccesarily. It was really unrealistic. There was too much focus on ther heroine. One of the very few I have not reread or relistened to with no intention of doing so.
"I liked it!!"
There seems to be a lot of negative reviews, but I liked the book. Granted the book is senual, but lets face it, if you read BJ that is what you are looking for. I am very critical of audiobooks and its narrators, but I found the book and narrator really good.
"Dare...Those Westmoreland men!!"
I liked it. The Westmoreland men are great. I like them even better than the Madaris family.
"Thorn!!! Luv those Westmoreland men!!!"
Loved it! I have listened to it numerous times. I love the gruff man that gets got by the woman.
"Like it!!"
Very good read. Just enough plot and steam. I recently canceled my membership because of the lack of African American romance. No offense to those that like the hard novels (cursing every other word), but that is not me. I have no problem with reality, but I live it daily and I like a little fantasy. Now I see they are adding additonal titles by Brenda, Rochelle alers, and Beverly Jenkins. I may have to rejoin.
