Did Lauren Davis do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

I found her voice very young and hard to listen to, it makes you feel like a kid listening to her narrating.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

maybe, I think it is geared to a much younger age group than me, not sure it would appeal to me.

    Any additional comments?

A little jeuvenile, a little long and tedious to listen to at times. Not sure I will be continuing with the series or not.

In the eyes of the world, Katharine of Aragon was a precious object to be disposed of for the glory of Spain. Her parents, Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand, sent her to England to become the bride of Arthur, Prince of Wales. But soon her frail husband was dead, and a fateful question loomed: was the marriage consummated, or was the young widow still a virgin?

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

If you enjoy learning about Katherine of Aragon it could be enjoyable, but so many of these books are similar and get tiring to listen to.

Would you be willing to try another book from Jean Plaidy? Why or why not?

Maybe, it seemed a little aged.

Was Katharine, the Virgin Widow worth the listening time?

I guess so, I probably wouldn't listen to it again though, it wasn't that good. The plot was just ok, not a lot of new information about her life I didn't already know.

What did you like best about The Book of Night Women? What did you like least?

The story was really good, I didn't like it up until over half way through, then didn't want to stop listening to it. It can be hard to listen to books where people are just so terribly cruel and horrible to others, but other than that it was a great book.

What did you like best about this story?

When the character fell in love with the overseer.

Do you think The Book of Night Women needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Sure, a story that follows her daughter could be fun.

    Any additional comments?

A little gory and graphic at times, but a good story.
