Way too much time spent having the characters make speeches in support of abortion and planned parenthood and way too little actually involving a mystery.
It was all I could do to get through this book. The characters are so immature and unsympathetic I found myself turning it off every few minutes because I wanted to just yell at them. Any child being raised in the Hayes / Cummings world should be prepared for years of therapy; just not from Zoe Hayes!
The story was very good, but the narrator consistently pronounced the name of the local road as the "Shoekill" Expressway instead of the "Schoolkill" Expressway. Annoying considering how important the setting of Philadelphia is to the story....
