Michael Connelly grabbed me on this book, right from the first page!! He definitely has not lost his magic touch to keep a reader interested and wanting to not put the book down for one minute!! The story was great! The performance was outstanding! If you like being grabbed, this is a great book!!

The performance was great by the narrators! The story was also great! Lisa can lend a very gripping edge to her stories and have you wanting to keep going. I also do like her endings as she is very good at wrapping up details in her stories.

This book was not as gripping and riveting as HIDE was. I like this author's work so far, but ALONE was okay and I did give it 3 stars.....

Lisa Gardner is WOW! AWESOME! RIVETING from page 1 to the last page!! I had a hard time putting this book down. I loved how Lisa grabbed my interest and kept it "high" till the end! I loved her writing, how she went through each chapter, how she tied up the loose ends towards the end! Here is an author who does a fantastic job of writing! I will be looking for her books and getting them. Her narrator also was super great!! I hope Lisa hangs onto her - she is awesome and wonderful!!!

This book was a good story. What I did not like, was all the bad language as there was way too much of it.

This is my first time with Stanford. This story started out slowly and then, picked up. The story is good writing. I am disappointed that there was a lot of bad language, which tends to turn me off as I just do not feel the bad language adds anything to the story. The bad language seemed to me, to be way overdone. It had a fairly good ending. I might try another of his stories at some point - I will have to think about it.

I found the author jumped around with the characters way too much and it seemed the author never put any finishing touches with any of the characters. What was the point of the story? I never could make sense of it.

I thought the performance was good. The story was fairly decent, but very wordy. I did not care for the ending as I thought it could have had a more detailed ending.

I thought this was a really good story by Iris and her son. Their team work definitely shows their talents! Super!!

I enjoyed the box set with the exception of the music playing during part 5. The music would play inbetween chapters - that part was fine. What wasn't good, is that in the beginning or ending of each chapter, the music would play, and it was difficult to hear what was being said. I found that to be annoying as I wanted to hear what was being said and the music played too long during the talking in the beginning and ending of each chapter.
