Two children from Sierra Leone, Liberty and A’shai, are brought together by chance, only to be forced apart by the most inevitable and tragic fate. Ashley & JaQuavis bring us this classic love story set against modern life’s most horrifying realities.

Where does Murderville rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

So far probably in my top 5.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character in this story by far was Rocco... all the others just seemed so naive or vindictive he maintained his hood swag and loyalty to the end.

Have you listened to any of Cary Hite’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yeah he's cool... Cary's voices made me laugh... born and raised in the Islands I always find it funny to hear Americans try to do other accents. The sound effects are great and makes the listen more interesting.

If you could take any character from Murderville out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Probably Dalia... even though she is incredibly coniving.

    Any additional comments?

Liberty should not have been that naive after all she had been through. It's one thing to be victimized but another to be that danged dumb for that long.
