One enemy spy knows the secret of the Allies' greatest deception, a brilliant aristocrat and ruthless assassin - code name: "The Needle" - who holds the key to the ultimate Nazi victory.

Daniel Mcafee says: "Just OK by Follett Standards"
    "Another Follett winner!"
    Overall

An excellant Follett novel that I had a difficult time when I had to stop listening. The narrator, Eric Lincoln was very good and the supporting cast kept it interesting and more dramatic. Eye of the Needle is another Follett masterpiece that Follett fans will enjoy.

Clanton, Mississippi. The life of a 10-year-old black girl is shattered by 2 drunken and remorseless young men. The mostly white town reacts with shock and horror at the inhuman crime. Until her father acquires an assault riffle - and takes justice into his own outraged hands. Also available abridged.

Chuck says: "Another Masterpiece Reading by Michael Beck"
    "Great story and narration!"
    Overall

I think this is John Grishams best novel even though it was his first. A Time to Kill was hard to put down. Grisham is an excellent writer and this is one of his best. Michael Beck is one of the best narrators and my favorite, who can give each character their own voice and puts the listener right in the story. I agree with another review that Michael Beck could read the dictionary and make it interesting. The time flies by when listening to this book and I did not want the story to end. This is a must listen and the listener will not be disappointed with A Time to Kill.

  • Odd Thomas

    • UNABRIDGED (10 hrs and 33 mins)
    • By Dean Koontz
    • Narrated By David Aaron Baker
    Overall
    (4507)
    Performance
    (1967)
    Story
    (1981)

"The dead don't talk. I don't know why." But they do try to communicate, with a short-order cook in a small desert town serving as their reluctant confidant. Odd Thomas thinks of himself as an ordinary guy, if possessed of a certain measure of talent at the Pico Mundo Grill and rapturously in love with the most beautiful girl in the world, Stormy Llewellyn.

    Denise says: "No Doubting Thomas"
    "A Great Listen"
    Overall

Koontz is still great. The reader becomes Odd Thomas and was perfect for this book. I can't wait to hear the next Odd Thomas book with the same reader.
