    I thought the book was great - it kept me entertained and interested. I read the other reviews and was surprised by some of the feedback on the narrator. I liked the fact that her characterizations did not intrude on my own. Part of what makes a book good to me is that I shape the characters in my mind as the author verbally draws them for me. When the narrator gets too much into "acting" the parts I find it distracts me and breaks up the flow of the story. I guess we all have our preferences.

    Overall, I would definitely read another of Ms. Ashley's books and I would definitely listen to another book narrated by Ms. Odom. I thought they made a pretty good team.

    It helped my time pass quickly on long car trips.

    Have you listened to any of Traci Odom’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    This is my first one with Traci but I thought she did a great job and I would certainly listen to her narration again.
