As a Retrieval Artist, Miles Flint helps the Disappeared, saving the lives of those oppressed under the Earth Alliance regime. He owes his livelihood and his very sense of honor to a woman known as Paloma. It was she who was responsible for setting him on this path. And now she has been murdered.

Tal says: "Very thorough thought put into every book"
    "Amazing Series"
    Overall

I really enjoy this series. Its very immersive and the readers are fantastic. Its Sci/Fi but not too out there as far as politics and curroption. I also think that its great that this book along with the others I've listened to don't contain explicit language or content.

  • The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

    F. Scott Fitzgerald makes anti-bellum Baltimore his setting for "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," a fantastical tale with some Poe-like overtones about a baby born at age 70 who then lives life in reverse, his hair turning "in the dozen years of his life from white to iron-gray, the network of wrinkles on his face becoming less pronounced."

    Swad says: "Just Curious"
    "Weird but Weirdly interesting"
    Overall

I think it was original and unusually for its day. And its entertaining from a scenerio perspective. But its a little short of drama and drawing you in emotionally. Or giving you some unusually things you could do with a life set in reverse.

  • Ringworld: Free Version

Welcome to Ringworld, an intermediate step between Dyson Spheres and planets. The gravitational force created by a rotation on its axis of 770 miles per second means no need for a roof. Walls 1,000 miles high at each rim will let in the sun and prevent much air from escaping. Larry Niven's novel Ringworld won the 1970 Hugo Award for Best Novel.

    "Pretty Cool"
    Overall

Neat book with some real interesting alien races. Has a little bit of what might be considered not suitable for younger listeners. Namely sexual content. It was only two scenes that come to mind and there easy to fast forward through. But you should know if you were thinking of downloading this for family or children you might want to rethink.
