Former Vice President Al Gore delivers his final major policy speech of the campaign season. Gore critiques President Bush's presidency in many areas, specifically Iraq, jobs retention and creation, the environment, and people's trust in government. This speech was delivered at Georgetown University on October 18, 2004.

History is a cruel teacher, not just for Al Gore, but for the nation as a whole.

This address appears to be the genesis if not the actual outline for Mr. Gore's " The Assault on Reason." Mr. Gore's often lampooned speech pattern and cadence are perfect for this subject matter as he puts in place each of the puzzle pieces that reveal what the Bush Administration's, and the Corporatist' agenda are for the United States.
