"Bad direction."
I would change the narration, who ever was directing this production should be fired. I used to listen to Stephen King read the Dark Tower, Drawing of the three, and Wastelands, on tape. All were well read and entertaining, but this one lead much to be desired. I don't think it's Stephen's fault, again fire the director, he/she didn't do their job.
Re-visiting Roland's world.
He was poorly directed, many things could have been improved.
I don't think that this book would lend it self well to a movie.
I would not recommend this audio production to anyone. (Unless you're a die hard fan like me, and can look past the performance.)
"Flush!"
The first one was great, the second was so so, and this one was terrible! This went from a great premise to a cheap copy of an Ann Rice novel. I loved the idea of the infection, and the fact that it was a virus that was spread from vampire to victim. But when they took a page out of “Memnock the Devil” and wrote in angles!!!!!! They flushed it down the drain, having said that the narrator did an awesome job!!
"Enter the ministry."
What a great book! Eliza D. Braun and her partner Wellington Books are fun to listen to and entertaining to follow, you never know what’s next. The mix of mayhem and comedy make this audio book hard to turn off, so make sure you are ready to get angry at anyone who tries to disrupt you. If you've never listened to a steam punk novel I suggest that you make this one your first. I really hope that Tee Morris and Pip Ballantine will continue to write more about these two.
"A Must Listen To!"
Classic Margaret George!! This novel was fascinating and bursting with knowledge of the period and places! Riveting right until the very end!
