I thought this book was difficult to follow in audio form. I had to purchase other reference materials to clarify what I read.
This book validated my audio book addiction. It also gave me some great ideas to catagorize my books and make them more enjoyable. One of the best "self help" guides I've read.
Hilarious!!! I liked "Shopgirl", but I loved "The Pleasure of My Company". Steve Martin is a genious.
The only drawback to this book was I felt that it was a bit too detailed making it a bit draggy. I wish that I'd read the abridged version. I enjoyed getting to know Alexander Hamilton, though, and learning what a complicated man he was.
I found this book hard to follow on audio. I don't know if it seemed random since it was an abridged version, or not, but I constantly felt like I was missing something.
This was a refreshing perspective on the formation of our country. After reading "Benjamin Frankin", "John Adams", and "Alexander Hamilton" it was nice to read a book about the women behind the men.
