It's near the top of the list.
The rest of the series for sure.
I don't know besides this series.
Looking for a quick easy listen... this is it. I can totally understand how Honey felt, wanting to get back at one of those telemarketers, especially since she felt personally insulted.
Just when I thought I had it figured out, I didn't. That's OK as I love it when the plot has twists and turns, enough that it takes a bit to figure it out. A great read. But be careful you may not be able to put it down until you have read the entire book.
This book was funny most of all. A little predictable at times but that is what made it so good. It is a story filled with warmth and made me think about naming one of my future pets Christmas just because of this story. I liked that is was not sappy but hit all the feel good things one likes in a short listen. I will listen to this again.
There is so much in this story it deserves at least a second listen if not a third or more. The charters are so completely developed. The story so portrays how sometimes we are well meaning but all wrong. So often we forget there may be system in place and just because we don’t understand or see it does not me it does not exist.
I don't know how I could pick a favorite character. There was so much good to find in the children each in their own way. It is hard for me to like the father in this story but without his mistaken judgments there would not have been a story at all.
This book touched me deep inside. While I do not see it as a sad story some may. Over all I felt the message is one of strength in adversity, learning to survive and understand others.
I would certainly recommend this book. It was hard to stop listening but alas I must work. We have all had days and situations when we all wanted to the same thing and tell the world what a rotten person someone else is. What style!!! Is there a company that will do it for others? It could be a real money maker.
Lacey Terwilliger was the favorite character but her attorney is a good second. Lacey is lovable, I feel for her and her situation. She is crazy and sane at the same time.
Amanda Ronconi made the voice really sound like the Character.
Peter Giles brings the book to life. His voice is both energetic and soothing at the same time.
Near the top. Realizing how much of a gift it was to be raised in a family with multi religious beliefs this was a fresh look at how overwhelming it must be for some families to only allow one view of religious beliefs. What a challenging gift is must have been for my family to allow me to search out my own personal relationship with religion.
At the dinner where both boys were put through a test.
Danny's dad and how he promoted free thinking and tolerance in his son.
I hope when people read this book they are inspired to look at all walks of life with an open mind. That is what this book did for me.
This is not really like any other book I have listened/read. Time Travelers Wife is what I was thinking of when I ordered this. I was happy with the story and am not sure how young a reader I would give this to.
I know this is a children's book but felt it perhaps should be a young adult book. I liked it very much.
Entertaining, funny, cute
The main Character of course, she is strong and funny.
I could listen to this in one setting. It's moves along nicely and is light.
It's nice as a stress reliever to listen to something for pure fun, absolute fiction ... it's not until the end, a bit of good sense reality comes into the story. Sometimes need to look back at life, compromise what we thought was right for what should be right. I felt good at the end of the book.
Each story is told in a positive way. This positive look at the patients, in my opinion, adds a dimension to many "deficient" brain patients.
The Doctor because he looked at the full charter of the patient. He thought in more than clinical terms and really exhibited a true compassion for his patients and wanted to learn from each of them.
I never have time to listen to a book all in one setting. Most likely I will listen to this book several times. Typically I am driving, cleaning or doing some chore when I listen to a book. When I find one that has as much interesting detail as this I typically listen to it several times to make sure I have absorbed it all. I did thoroughly enjoy this book. I find the brain very fascinating.
I really liked the tone of the reader and found it very pleasant and relaxing.
