What do Starbucks and JetBlue and KrispyKreme and Apple and DutchBoy and Kensington and Zespri and Hard Candy have that you don't? How do they continue to confound critics and achieve spectacular growth, leaving behind former tried-and true brands to gasp their last? Face it, the checklist of tired P's marketers have used for decades to get their product noticed - Pricing, Promotion, Publicity, to name a few - aren't working anymore.

I have wanted to read this for sometime now. Glad I was able to download it and listen to this short book. Godin presents theories and concepts in different ways than most think about. Highly recommended!

In 1998, three Harvard Business School graduates - two men and one woman - turned down six-figure salaries at big corporations, bet on themselves, and launched their own new companies. By their 10-year reunion, their audacity had paid huge dividends. They'd made many millions of dollars, created hundreds of jobs and left their mark on the world. The Intelligent Entrepreneur tells the compelling and instructive story of how these three young founders did it.

This audio book was a great listen. The author detailed the lives of a handful of entrepreneurs, who made it big, after attending the prestigious Harvard Business School. Learning about the trials and tribulations is helpful and should be used as a resource for any individual considering starting their own business.
