In this breathtaking and beautiful novel, the #1 New York Times best-selling author Anna Quindlen creates an unforgettable portrait of a mother, a father, a family, and the explosive, violent consequences of what seem like inconsequential actions.

So true how different children brought up in the same household can be. Good illustration of the dynamics that are within the family. Found myself laughing, nodding in agreement, and crying out loud. Loved it!

Cute story for kids, I didn't realize it was a kids book until I started to listen. I did listen to the whole thing, but would recommend for adult listening.

Why we think it’s a great listen: How do you one-up a book that’s already a global literary phenomenon? Hire Simon Vance to (flawlessly) interpret the loves, lives, and murders of Sweden’s cold and secret-filled world. A spellbinding amalgam of murder mystery, family saga, love story, and financial intrigue. It's about the disappearance 40 years ago of Harriet Vanger, a young scion of one of the wealthiest families in Sweden.

It took me a while to get into this, but I did get into it and enjoyed it. I was compelled to buy his next book, The Girl Who Played With Fire.
