In a compelling business fable, The Myth of Multitasking confronts a popular idea that has come to define our hectic, work-a-day world. This simple yet powerful book shows clearly why multitasking is, in fact, a lie that wastes time and costs money. Far from being efficient, multitasking actually damages productivity and relationships at work and at home.

    Story

The Arthur explains how task switch known as multitasking actually hinders efficiency and productivity. For a person who works in large companies or has a business this book will allow you to notice how much money is actually lost when your employees are performing task switching. I know it is hard to not do task switching these days but if this is taken seriously, this will result in better and faster work production. After reading this book I have been able to notice how much task switching I do and I have started to minimize them by dividing the different task in the morning of each day, ordering by priority and focusing on doing one until it is finished, then continue with the next until all tasks are complete. I still need to improve this, but it has helped me out.

Recommend to listen, an excellent short and straight to the point book.

Great Book, This book explains many concepts that are necessary to develop a business and not another job. He explains the mistakes that we do when going into business and how to avoid them.
In the book he explains that people mostly do a business is because they are good at something that they do (e.g: Pies, circuit boards, stuff) and then they create the business and start working in the business and focus mostly on the technical side which is what they do best. This is a mistake that we do and he explains how to work on the business instead of in the business.
Great book for anyone that has a business and/or is starting to create one.

Hundreds of books have been written about the financial crisis that engulfed the world after Lehman Brothers went bankrupt. But what if the bigger financial crisis is ahead of us, not behind us?As John Mauldin and Jonathan Tepper deftly illustrate in this controversial audio book, the crisis was more than a half-century in the making. The Great Financial Crisis, however, was merely Act I.

I give this book a 5 star rating because it is a great book and it deserves it. In my case I not a person will great knowledge of the economic scenery around the world and in the USA. He uses many terms that I was not familiar which had me search on the web. The book allowed me how integrated the economies around the world affect and depend of she other. I would recommend this book with the comment that it may require some research to understand in depth. I benefited from this book and I'm more aware of what is going on with the USA economy and how it is affected by China, India and Europe.

The book is research based, meaning that the author throughout the book reference researches that backs what he explains. This explains how to improve how aging and also talk about the menopause and how exercise helps in with this. This book motivated me and my girlfriend to get back on doing exercise, because it provided an understanding of what is happening in our body and brain when we exercise, thus letting us know that we have control in how we feel and age. Also it explains how to promote your body to produce more Human Growth Hormones. By applying the concepts discuss in this book you can greatly improve your brain capabilities.

Excellent book recommend to everyone to listen.
