5 out of 5 stars. Jane McGonigal does a fantastic presentation of a very thought provoking subject. Julia Whelan did a wonderful job on the narration as well. (So much so that it was kind of a jolt when I watched the clip of Jane on the Colbert report and she didn't sound like Julia!) One drawback is I had to buy a Kindle copy after listening because I wanted to check out all of the links that are mentioned. ^_^

I am a big fan of Mr. Rawles work. I have read and re-read this story several times since it's draft release in the early 90s under the title of "Triple Ought", however listeners should be warned that this is in fact not a novel. In "Patriots: A Novel of Survival in the Coming Collapse" Mr. Rawles has created a cross between a survival manual and a cautionary tale which is filled with an abundance of technical detail for those interested in exploring the concept of a post hyper-inflation collapse America. However, this level of detail does not lend itself well to the audiobook format. If you are a fan of Mr. Rawles and wish to support his work, please, by all means purchase a copy. If however, you have not read this work before and are interested in the subject matter I strongly suggest that you purchase a paper copy instead.
