Bureau of Land Management Agent Jamaica Wild has witnessed the death of a Tanoah Pueblo man trampled to death by stampeding buffalo. The tribe has declared the incident a suicide, the FBI concurs, and the body is hurried to ceremony before the sun can go down on his spirit. But Agent Wild suspects foul play.

Susan says: "Not as good as I had hoped."
    "A Disappointing Read"

We have read many titles from Audible.com and thoroughly enjoyed them all. EXCEPT THIS ONE. The review drew us to the book but it was a very tedious listen. Don't waste your time with this one.

To Have and Have Not is the dramatic story of Harry Morgan, an honest man who is forced into running contraband between Cuba and Key West as a means of keeping his crumbling family financially afloat. His adventures lead him into the world of wealthy and dissipated yachtsmen who throng the region, and involve him in a strange and unlikely love affair.

We just saw the movie and recently visited Key West where we toured Hemingway's home. "To Have and Have Not" was discussed during the tour so we thought we would reread (hear) a book we read in high school. Great listen -- colorful characters and a visit to history we have long forgotten. A little uncomfortable at the beginning with descriptions of African-Americans and terms we do not hear today.
    Recommend this highly.

Five years after the crashof TWA Flight 800, the government has declared it a result of mechanical failure. But John Corey, an ex-NYPD detective who is now a contract agent with the Federal Anti-Terrorist Task Force, is persuaded by Kate Mayfield, his wife and task force partner, that the case deserves a second look.

Ms Discus says: "Addictive mix of fact & intriguing storyline"
    "Night Fall not worth it"

We have read (and heard) other DeMille books so looked forward to hearing this one. Unfortunately, he rambles and just rehashes the headlines and news stories from the papers.
Don't bother with this one. Sorry.
