I’ve been anticipating this audiobook release for months and I have to say that I certainly was not disappointed. AL Jackson, in my opinion, is a master at writing emotion, angst and heartwarming romances. The story of a woman who ran from her hometown over a decade before that comes home after her grandmother passes away made me stay up till the middle of the night to listen. The hero is a tortured man, haunted by the past, and is terrified of becoming emotionally involved. His daughter Frankie is a great addition to this story. The narration was just perfection and I’m already wanting the next book!

This is the fourth audiobook in this series and I am afraid I really found it to be sort of average. There was a kind of flimsy plot and the heroine just matter of factory accepted she was on this alien planet and mated to a rather barbaric alien. The storyline was a bit flimsy, but if you have listened to the previous three stories it makes sense. Narration was done pretty well. Not my favorite audiobook.

Autumn thought she knew who she was - then she discovered she was a rare type of dragon shifter called a Supreme Dragoon. Now she is heading to her new mate’s home world to meet more of their kind. Nerves were to be expected, but Autumn is about to get more than she bargained for. Kirall always knew who he was, a Prime Dragoon, one of the strongest of his kind. He'd never doubted who he was or his place until he traveled to Earth and met her. Autumn descended from a line of Dragoon thought to have died out many millennia ago. Their mating changed all he'd been taught to believe.

This is the second book in this series and you must listen to the first book to really enjoy the second. This is a continuation of Autumn and Kirall’s love story. They have returned to his home planet, where the greeting for Autumn is not so warm. Then the Council, and some evil council members try to make their lives difficult. This book also ends in a cliffhanger, so be aware! Narration was very well done. Looking forward to the next audiobook in this series!

When my cousin Jax bails me out after a bar fight, I head to his middle-of-nowhere cabin. I don't mind - I was made to be a mountain man. I’m not the only person staying at Jax’s place. His wife’s cousin, Honor, is here too. Suddenly this mountain is looking a hell of a lot better. When Honor tells me her life is complicated it’s the understatement of the century. Besides having a tender heart and the face of an angel, she’s a sister-wife, on the run from her ex, desperate to give her children a better life.

This was a sexy romance about a woman who escapes from a cult and the man who is her “husband” with her three young Cherenkov. The hero is the cousin of Jax, a mountain man from a previous book. When Honor arrives at her cousin Hannah’s mountain home (Hannah is arrived to Jax) she meets Hawk, Jax’s cousin. They fall in love pretty much instantly. The danger comes when Hannah’s “husband”/(they aren’t really married) keeps insisting she come back. This story has a lot of sex scenes, just be aware. Narration was perfect.

Tansy, the middle daughter of the three Bell sisters, has always been a little different, even for a Bell. Like a chameleon, she can change her appearance and personality to blend in almost anywhere, and she uses this talent to bring to justice some of the worst criminals in the world. Mak 'Tag Krell Manok is the wild one of his four brothers. He is known for his huge size, hot temper, fierce strength, and skills as a warrior. Few men in any galaxy dare to challenge him and live.

I enjoyed this audiobook story about Tansy, who is a sister to the heroines in the first two books of this series. She’s an undercover government agent and is seriously wounded while on assignment. She calls to tell her family a last goodbye, but they aren’t on Earth anymore! The hero is Mack, an alien who just knows that Tansy is his mate. When he arrives on Earth through the gateway he’s enraged to find out she’s in grave danger and insists on going to rescue her. The adventure of the book moves fast. Narration was very well done.

When a friend's experiment creates a portal to another world, she finds herself swept into a faraway star system she thought only existed in the movies. Story

This audiobook was entertaining and moved along at a fast pace. The characters were very engaging and memorable. The heroine, “Think” to her friends, is a small vivacious little blonde spitfire who accidentally stumbled through a space portal her friend Cosmos has been tinkering with. Arriving amidst a battle, she uses her hammer to hit a huge lizard alien in the head, killing him. The next thing she knows she’s in front of a man who takes her breath away and something happens to toe them together as mates. The society created by the author is original. The best part of this story for me is when Tink tries to describe oral sex to the naive warriors on the ship. I really had to laugh. Narration was very well done, but a male voice might have added a little.m

    Story

I enjoyed this audiobook very much. It’s not my usual fare, as I rarely read shifter books but this story kind of grabs your attention right away and keeps it. The heroine is a girl who I kidnapped at a bar while waiting for her best friend to come help celebrate her 21st birthday. When she wakes up in a big fancy house, a gorgeous guy is there. Her best friend soon shows up, having tracked her there. When the heroine finds out that she’s a dragon shifter and her mother hid her memories from her about it, she begins to slowly remember the mother who left her when she was younger and never came back. Then three more handsome men show up and she finds out they are all the Alphas of other shifter clans and she’s their destined bride. They set off to solve the mystery of what happened to her mother and memories continue to return. This audiobook ends on a cliffhanger, which annoys me a bit, so I hope the next series will be released soon. Narration was excellent.

I’ve really enjoyed these Ice Planet romances, mostly because the characters are each so individually easy to visualize and the author does such a good job of world building. This story about one of the human women, Kira, who crashed onto the ice planet “Not Hoth” and the Sakui male who loves her is well written and narration was very well done. The evil alien slavers make a reappearance and have to be dealt with, making this a very entertaining story.

I thought coming home would solve all my problems. I've never been more wrong. After a decade in the military, I'm more at home in the desert than the mansion where I grew up. I want to pretend that six months as a captive didn't change me, but ever since I escaped, I haven't slept. Nightmares. Flashbacks. Nothing makes sense anymore. Until I see her. Standing in the moonlight in her white nightgown, she looks like an angel. The second I touch her I know she's all woman.

I enjoyed this audiobook very much. The heroine is the survivor of an abusive marriage and only escaped when her husband died. The her is a recent POW who has returned to civilian life and meets the heroine who is caretaker for his elderly aunt. Their romance is both hot and sweet, but complicated by someone who keeps breaking into the house. Then suddenly, her “dead” husband shows up and all hell breaks loose. The narration was very well done.

A lush, tropical island on an icy planet makes no sense. Then again, not much makes sense anymore after waking up and finding myself not in bed but on a strange world populated by aliens. Since that moment, I've learned that nothing is normal anymore and I've got to roll with the punches. I can handle this, though. I'm strong and capable. So...washed up on a tropical island? Narration was well performed and I’m looking forward to the next book in this series!
