"Reacher/Hill is the perfect combo"
Wow, for me, this book is the best in the series thus far. Without Fail is definitely an exciting, fast-paced thrill-ride filled with action and intrigue; but what I really love is the continued character development of Reacher. This installment in the popular series - one of my favorites - adds depth and substance to Child's already fascinating anti-hero. Jack Reacher is real - I believe. So looking forward to the next book in the series:
"Minnie Goode is AMAZING!!!"
I’m so glad I didn't listen to all the haters. Minnie Goode was AMAZING!!! She brought so much life to the characters in this story. I am a HUGE fan of hers now and will eagerly listen to anything she lends her voice to.
The story was incredible. Mr. Howey did a fantastic job of elaborating on what was originally a lone short story. I can’t wait to read more of his stuff.
"Outstanding!!! Rich Roll is my new hero."
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Finding Ultra is an inspirational and moving account of a man not only facing his addictions, middle age and personal fears, but conquering them as well. Mr. Roll has become a role model (pun intended, ;o) for me. This is a true mid-life coming of age story that proves anything is possible if we are willing to do the footwork.
The author holds nothing back as he explains, in detail, how he eats and why. The appendices -- especially -- are filled with copious amounts of information and resources that will get anyone started in the right direction towards better health. I can’t wait to start my new Plant Power Diet.
"Excellent"
This is a great Audiobook and I'm glad I revisited it. I have the print version as well which is great for doing the specific exercises. I really like the concept of NLP and know it's a powerful tool that I need to access and use more often.
"Great Series"
4.5 Stars. I'm really enjoying this series a lot. It's interesting reading some of the negative reviews. I should point out, though, that I'm not a Harry Potter fan or really interested in urban fantasy either, but Butcher has put a spell on me with Dresden. I'm actually excited I'm only two books into the series because of all the adventures that lay ahead. A really fun and enjoyable read.
"4.5 Stars - Really good"
4.5 Stars. Really enjoyed it. I love my fast paced military/Sci-Fi stories. Up there with my other fav's: James Rollins, Matthew Reilly, Boyd Morrison, Mark Greaney, among others. Loved it!!! More...need more!
"LIKE WOWZERS MAN!!!"
I really liked the premise of this book and kind of had it on the back burner. For some reason I started it the other day and WOWZERS!!! This story completely and 100% KICKS ASS!!!!! I think Smith did a great job making believable characters (the main protag — Alex Sawyer — as well as the other boys in the prison), that I not only care about, but can't wait to invest more time in by reading this entire series. I suspended my usual aversion to cliffhanger endings because I think it really works in this case. The pace steadily increases throughout the book like Evil Knievel racing towards the ramp; faster and faster 'til his motorcycle blasts into the sky like a rocket and......tune in next time. The fearsome Warden Cross and the Blacksuits are great villains, but the Wheezers are beyond disturbing. They added a menacingly nightmarish tension to the story that left me on the edge of my seat in agony. I F'N LOVE THIS BOOK!!! I will read them all and most likely anything Mr. Smith has to offer. My favorite book of 2012 thus far.
"Lovin' that Silverberg!!!"
Hahaha, HILARIOUS; in a disturbed kind of way ;^D. Silverberg is one of my favorites and this story was Great. Must. Read. More. Silverberg!!!
"Yes!!!"
Ten stars!!! I love Adam Carolla. His ideas are intuitive, enlightening and hilarious. While I may not agree with all of his thoughts and opinions, I do appreciate Adam's ability to illuminate a subject and to look at things from a whole new perspective that usually leaves me wondering why nobody has thought of that before. Anyway, an entertaining and fun audiobook. I laughed my ass off.
"Lots of fun"
This book has been around for a bit and i've heard good things, so when audible had a sale I gave it a shot. It is actually a very clever work of fiction with some fascinating characters. I bought into the story right away and I really felt that Mr. Colfer did a great job of creating a magical subculture that was believable, exciting, and all the while, right under our feet. Really well done with some great plot twists. The story moved along at a steady pace and I even found myself chuckling several times. Lots of fun, I'll read the next one...
