Could you see The Greek Tycoon's Secret Child being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

    No

    Any additional comments?

I use books, reading or listening, as my major form of entertainment so I read Drama, Suspense, Comedy, Fantasy/Scifi and Romance. Just finished David Baldacci and Stephen King so this was a nice change of pace. I've read better and I've read worse.

When not busy serving customers the girls at the coffee shop have a pastime that they find particularly stimulating; watching and flirting with the firefighters at the station across the street. Alyssa has had her eye on one particular hottie, Evan London, but to her frustration nothing beyond friendship seems to develop between them - until the night her apartment building goes up in flames! Upon rescuing her from certain death, he offers her a place to stay until she gets back on her feet.

What would have made The Firefighter and the Girl from the Coffee Shop better?

A story to go with the sex

Has The Firefighter and the Girl from the Coffee Shop turned you off from other books in this genre?

Not exactly the genre but definitely the author.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

It was really more the book I disliked than the narrator

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Firefighter and the Girl from the Coffee Shop?

If I cut or shortened any of the "hot" scenes it would be 10 minutes long

    Any additional comments?

Some kind of rating system would be nice. This is not a book I would have purchased if I had realized it was quite this x rated. Many times the reviews are not very clear and you can't tell just how "hot" it is. Some is ok but then there is too much. I buy a book for the story and characters not how long they spend in bed.

Generations of werewolves have been secretly residing in a secluded valley a stones throw from Grundy, Alaska. So when a snooping Outsider comes to Grundy to investigate rumors of lycanthropic shenanigans in the area, the valleys pack alpha, Maggie Graham, resolves to chase him away, even if doing so takes a quick bite on the butt. What a pity that researcher Nick Thatcher turns out to be so drool-worthy, and that his kisses make Maggie want to sit up and beg.

Enjoyed the story line and the narrator. Mystery, romance, comedy, everything you need to get away from it all for awhile.

When we last left the mighty wizard detective Harry Dresden, he wasn't doing well. In fact, he had been murdered by an unknown assassin. But being dead doesn't stop him when his friends are in danger. Except now he has nobody, and no magic to help him. And there are also several dark spirits roaming the Chicago shadows who owe Harry some payback of their own. To save his friends - and his own soul - Harry will have to pull off the ultimate trick without any magic....

    Story

I am in the minority it seems but I very much enjoyed this book. I purchased the book for the story by Jim Butcher and the continuation of the series. I, too, think James Marsters is the voice of Harry Dresden but John Glover did a terrific job with the Harry Dresden of this story. In the space of 24 hours, for Harry, he has suffered a major double whammy. First he has to kill a woman he once loved, the mother of his child, to save his child and then he finds himself dead and a ghost. This is a different man. This is an excellent, well crafted story about friendship, resiliency, love and the coming to terms with what IS. The insight into the depths of several characters other than Harry is just wonderful. And of course, there is the action and questionable decisions. As far as I am concerned this is a not to be missed book.
