In my opinion, this has got to be one of Brad Thor's best Scot Harvath novels. I listened to the whole book in two sittings, it was impossible to put down. Granted, one must take into consideration the exceptional narration by George Guidall - he really brings these kinds of non-stop action novels to life.

If you enjoy reading Tom Clancy, Daniel Silva and Vince Flynn - you will enjoy Brad Thor.

A must for followers of Vince Flynn's, Mitch Rapp series. This book stands alone extremely well. If you have never read a Vince Flynn book before, you could easily start with this one and then read the rest of his Mitch Rapp books in order. This book has earned a spot as one of my favorites - second only to Memorial Day. And I cannot fail to mention that George Guidall truly brings Mitch Rapp to life!

For those of you who enjoy the Russian classics, here is an absolutely stellar performace! Dostoevsky's Book is riveting and the Narration by George Guidall is thought-provoking and flawless. You really should NOT pass this Audible Book by.

I wasn't expecting such a sweeping view (4 decades) of Presidential, Political and Personal History. The narration by Edward Herrmann was impeccable.

I just could NOT stop listening to this book. This is a truly historic, autobiography. It is so completely engrossing. The scope, depth and frankness are reminiscent of Sir Winston Churchill's writings. I actually feel rather foolish trying to write this review. Upon listening to this book, you too will be left in awe of this man and all that he has given in the service to his country.

If you could read or listen to just one book this year, MAKE THIS BOOK YOUR CHOICE! You will learn so much about how the Main Stream Media, the Left and the Democrat party have worked together to destroy conservatives and everything they stand for. You will also learn about the people, like Andrew Breitbart, who are trying to get the unvarnished truth out. FACTUAL and DAMNING! I just could NOT stop listening and finished this wonderful book in one sitting. Thank you, Mr. Breitbart!

If you love Science Fiction and haven't read or listened to this book yet, you are really missing out on some great fiction. If you ask me, it's better than the classic, Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein.

Speaking of which, I find it so hard to believe that this book hasn't been made into a movie yet. And I don't mean a campy sci-fi flick but the real deal with lots of special effects and heavy on the back story - growing old and aging.

Seriously, if you're starting to feel the pangs of getting older, just read this book and dream. I read it once a couple of years ago and I've just finished listening to it for the second time. William Dufris does a truly wonderful job of narrating this book.

I am totally addicted to Vince Flynn's creation of badass, counter-intelligence officer and terrorist assassin - Mitch Rapp. I was truly left wanting more after listening to this Audible download. I wonder how long I will have to wait for the unabridged, Audible version of Extreme Measures, Pursuit of Honor and American Assassin?! Hopefully, they will all be narrated by George Guidall - he's such an exceptional narrator! Even though all of Vince Flynn's novels stand alone well, I prefer to read/listen to them in order, so I provided a list of Vince Flynn's books with their publishing dates for your convenience;

I'm assuming if you are considering a Vince Flynn book, you already know what type of book you are looking for. An edge of your seat, CIA spy, counter terrorism, espionage thriller - the very best of!

Mitch Rapp makes Jack Bauer of 24 look like a Politically Correct Jerk.

You really should listen to this book before you listen to Act of Treason, notheless it stands alone very well. A bit longer than most of Vince Flynn's books. This Mitch Rapp novel is one of my favorites - second only to Memorial Day. You WILL NOT be disappointed with this novel!

Another one of Vince Flynn's better novels, read by one of my most favorite Audible narrators, George Guidall! If you ask me, George Guidall's voice IS exactly what I imagine WOULD BE the voice of Mitch Rapp. Sheer perfection on Audible's part in putting these two together.

If you're a Vince Flynn/Mitch Rapp fan, this book delivers globe trotting, fast action, heavy handed interrogations, I mean torture . . . no I mean interrogations - hell, what I mean is getting the J-O-B done! Not to mention the fact that this incredibly entertaining book ends with JUSTICE being served. I really enjoyed this Vince Flynn Audible book. I was glued to my chair and finished the whole adventure in 3 sittings.

Although this book is an exceptional work of literary fiction by one of the best American authors of our time, Cormac McCarthy and the narration by Tom Stechschulte was also marvelously well done, I just couldn't give it a five star rating.

I love science fiction, especially post-apocalyptic science fiction, but I feel that this book isn't for everyone. I found it extremely dark, depressing and disturbing. I seriously doubt I'll ever listen to this Audible book again - there are images far too grim and yet horribly plausible that I just can't get out of my head.

Highly Recommended for Lovers of Post-Apocalyptic Science Fiction but definitely not for everyone!
