This was real page turner for me..I like Jack Higgins a lot..The narration was top noch..and the reader built up to a nice exciting finish..Not overly long, and that I like..The author keeps it interesting..

This book is a good listen..it starts off slow and stays that way..the narrator although good,he does the various voices very well ,but does not add much excitement to the book and there are some tense moments but they all seem so slow..The story is good and the author seems to know a lot about the operation and protocol of running a destroyer and the day to day operations and commands. I just kept waiting for the narration to pick up speed a little..all in all though a good job with the story and so- so performance..

Well it is too long for my taste and I thought I would lose interest..but so far so good

How complex all the government agency 's are and the competion among them..is this really going on??..I ask myself..probably so..

Scott does an excellent job and keeps the pace and suspense going . He is indeed an good narrator..how he can keep up the pace for so long amazes me..I have never heard him before but will look for him on other books..to me the narration is the most important part..

Wow this is a long,complicated book..but very interesting and the story line keeps you going..I usually don't like to commit to such a long story but so far it has kept me listening and I continue on. I never knew so much was going on with all these secret agency's

Very interesting and funny book.. a pleasure to listen to..although the reader and author reads it kinda fast, but it is still quite enjoyable..He is really a rebel and has a novel approach to cooking and the food business.. I have watched his TV show

Very well performed and the story was great..Mr Engene is a very good narrator and brought the whole book to life.I enjoy Westerns and this is one of the best..Very enjoyable.and the length was just right.I really liked it.

Yes David McCallum really makes the book interesting..He reads the Russian names perfectly and that rrally makes the book a good read..

His dedication to making the book interesting..Without his reading it would have been a dull book..

Liked everything about this book..Narration was excellent Mr. Engene always makes it interesting and the story just kept moving along at a good pace..I am kinda partial to Westerns and this one fit the bill perfectly with good characters and a good story..

Not really very exciting..the dramatization was OK but don't think I would go for another book of this type..I think I would rather ..just read it..L'Amour is much better in that department

Pronxini is one excellent writer.you can hardly ever go wrong with one of his books..This one fell a little short..and although it kept my interest till the end..was not a very strong story...Three stars only..
