Would you listen to My Kind of Christmas again? Why?

Yes, the narrator makes this story come to life. I listened to this series while reading the book and it makes the experience better.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Not thrilled. It reminded me to much of what happened between Shelby and Luke. But I was happy that Patrick ended up with a nice and smart woman.

Have you listened to any of Therese Plummer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, and all her performances are worth listeining to. She is very restful to listen to and brings the kindness of the character to the surface.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, unfortunately I didn't have the need to listen to the story in one sitting. The story sound to much like last year christmas story.

    Any additional comments?

Although, the story was very similar to others it is still worth buying and adding it to the rest of the series.

Would you listen to The Goddesses of Kitchen Avenue again? Why?

Yes, I love the relationships that are in this story. Samuel has a knack of creating great characters and plots that just makes me want more.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Goddesses of Kitchen Avenue?

Most memorable moment is when Trudy and Rick start to get their relationship back together. I like that it was a little work for them to learn more about each other and to treat each others as adults not just someone your with.

What about Bernadette Dunne’s performance did you like?

She did a great job with the characters voices. She had the intensity some of the characters needed in order to understand them.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When the beginning novelist went to the writers retreat even when her husband left her, but then once he realized she wasn't going away he was her biggest fan.

Good story, but I have loved every novel from Barbara O'neal has written.

Which character – as performed by Robert Petkoff – was your favorite?

Lanthe is my favorite. I like how nice she is even though she's suppose to be evil, but she just can't. I love that she becomes more self confident as Thronos and Lanthe try to solve their problems.
