Somewhere in the middle. I love Miller's series. The make me want to go horseback riding. I like that the stories have a down to earth feeling about them.
Miller's Mckettrick series compares to the Montana Creeds. I read other cowboy series, but this one has a more positive storyline than others. There is always love, hope and strength in each of Miller's story.
Yes, I have only listen to Garrett through the Mckettrick and Creed series, but he always reminds me of the west, horses and cowboys.
The Cowboy adventure lives on.
I love how strong all the female characters are in this storyline.
This a very good story, but there is darkness in it that makes want to throw up you hands and walk away from the story.
How authentic the story line was from true history.
Frederica because she perseveres under tremendous odds and some how survives.
Yes, when the Jews are gather into a synagogue and burn to death, it my breath stop and made me want to cry for those lose souls.
Barbara Samuels or Barbara O'neal stories are fantastic, they will make you think, laugh, sigh and fall in love with all her characters.
Major character update
I like that a lot of the secondary characters were given a story of their own ( Dianta, Quinn, Eric, etc) now we need a sequel on the sequel.
She brought life to the story and she brings life to the sequel.
The one with Dianta made me laugh and Eric's made me happy.
This was a very good series and another sequel would be great.
It stands alone. What can I say Tim Conway is a hoot. He was funny as an adult and his story of childhood is fun and endearing. I highly recommend this lighthearted audiobook.
I don't have any other audiobook that compares, but it does encourage me to get more non-fiction entertainment.
Yes, have your ever heard of "The Carol Burnett Show," and this is right up there with that show.
Yes, in fact I listen to the audiobook a second time already.
Tim Conway I hope you make me laugh for another 40 years.
The babies being born and Diana and Matthew changing their world.
Gallowglass who was very colorful, fun and loyal no matter what. I wish he would have found someone in this novel.
She bring Diana Bishop to life and give the text a magical quality.
Very good series.
Toward the top of the list, it's about how decisions can change your life for the better and that you never know what will be around the next corner.
Jonah shows up in Ramona's life again and for good. It's funny how we have all these big dreams but sometimes you get something completely different.
The nuances of the character, I had a more emotional connection to the characters than if I just read the book.
Where the road will take you.
I love the actual recipes in the story.
That the journey the women take help them heal and grow.
That some one loves to farm and take care of the land.
Jennie because she is doing a lot of things for the first time and doesn't give in to guilty and corrosion from people who try to make her afraid of the unknown.
When the farm becomes Rudy's and not one of the nephews who want to sell the land.
Good story but a little predicable. I like "How to Bake a Perfect Life. " and "No Place like home," better. They plots are more real and complicated.
There are to many to name just one. There is Beth and Wrath, Assail and Sola, Wrath's father and Wrath's mother, Layla and Score and Selena and the Shadow. All good and memorable.
When Beth has a baby and when she has her needing and doesn't even know she is pregnant already.
I am always happy when the love interest get together and that the brothers are still all together and in one piece.
Another excellent story with a lot of surprises that will make you sigh and cheer and sometimes wish circumstances were different.
Yes, this story is more in line with Cole's earlier stories in this series. The characters are full of wit and coolness and learn to overcome their differences.
When Chloe over comes her kidnapping and finding out she is part of the lore and makes the most of it.
Chloe is my favorite because she is smart, witty and overcomes her challenges.
Chloe tries to help Uilleam with his past, even though he is being very difficult.
Looking forward to Dark Skye
Yes, Yes, Yes. It was a wonderful story about a woman who had to deal with love in a very difficult situation.
Louisa Clark because of how she had to learn and experience her six month with Will Treynor and in the end finding herself.
Show me why life is worth it.
I thought from the title that it would be a superficial story, but in turn out to be a fully developed and enriching story about a person who doesn't want to live and another who tries to show the person why it is.
I would recommend the book, but not the audiobook. The narrator does justice to the male characters, but distorts the female voices so much that it doesn't sound like a female. The narrator also makes it hard to understand what the characters are saying.
It is at the very beginning of the story when Luke discovers he's a father.
His female voice were awful and it was sometime hard to understand what he was saying.
No I didn't have a strong reaction to the audiobook. It is a nice story, but I liked the printed version better.
