I enjoyed the audio version because I got to lay back and imagine the world as its read to me! The narrators voice is horrid in the first hour of the first book, but you get use to it!
My favorite part was when the main character found herself stuck in a test experiment. The experiment being a guarded sanctuary with different tribes of wild people killing each other!
Shay was my favorite because the narrator used a chill voice.
Not moved, but made me laugh out loud a couple times!
I felt this book was written better than the first. I enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to any of you that like Dystopian books.
I liked that it was a branch off of the Wicked Lovely series.
The fight scenes.
Yes, from other Wicked Lovely books. He did a good job. I do miss the first narrator though from book 1.
Ya and no. Yes, because it was good and I wanted to finish it so I could move on to a different book. And no because sometimes it was a little slow.
It was a good short story. I would wait to buy it when its on sale, for future buyers.
I enjoyed all of the action and the split narrators for every other chapter.
The entire book was memorable! But the ending was I believe was the most memorable.
Again, I the entire book was my great and so every scene is just a part of the whole!
The end. I found it very sad.
Marie Lu has done a fantastic job with this trilogy. I could have seen it being more books in the series however. Another author just wanting a movie deal! No problem and I hope she gets one! The second book though was very short. The ending of this book left the reader wanting more. This author felt rushed in the second book and not rushed in the 3rd book until the last several chapters and than again the book was put on fast pace to be completed. The narrators were fantastic. The first book the male narrator was kind of monotone at times but he picked it up in the next two books. I do suggest this book to all of you Dystopian fans like me!
I loved that it was as good as the first 2 books. Everything about it was excellent!
Obviously my favorite character is Deuce. She is the strongest female character out of any book or movie I have ever seen. I give this credit to the author. I hate when female authors make their main female character dumb and have a tendency for getting themselves in trouble every 5 minutes. This character was strong, smart, and full of courage.
She was one of the best narrators!
This book made me smile, laugh, & feel sad at times.
I can only hope that Ann Aguirre continues writing books that take place in the same world. Obviously these character and their stories are done. But I can only hope that she can find a parallel story/characters for the same world of imagination. If not, than I hope all of her books are just as exciting!
I loved the Genre of Dystopian and the characters.
The action parts were the most memorable.
She was a great narrator and very nice to listen to while relaxing.
The family ties of the main character made me think of my family.
This short story was a fun book to listen to. But VERY short. It is well worth the money if you enjoy Dystopian books. The author is an exceptional writer and very creative.
I like the back and fourth narrators for each chapter.
I like Tris because she is a smart character. I hate dumb characters that always get into a mess because they are dense.
Emma is wonderful. Aaron is not bad.
It has a very sad twist at the end.
Allegiant wasn't quite what I expected it to be and it seemed rushed at times. However this author and the two narrators did a wonderful job. I could have seen this Trilogy turning into a 10 book series. But the author made a crucial judgement call in killing off a main character. Most likely because the author wants 3 movie deals for each book. This book was well written and had action and a twist of emotions. All and all I very much enjoyed the series.
Not for a very long time because it was soooooo long but I will be listening to the next few books in the serious which are also long! Great book though!
No books but the HBO show A Game Of Thrones is about 95% accurate to the book.
Aria was the best because her parts were the most fun, exciting, sad, and etc.
No I just couldn't. The chapters were 25-55 min long average of 30 min. 4 parts of about 9 hours each. Way to much but it doesn't mean I didn't like the book because I loved it.
The first chapter is the hardest to overcome, after that the book is just so amazing and detailed!
I like it a lot! I've been lucky with Dystopian books and so they all rank equally high on my list!
I like Day and June because they are both smart characters and easy to like since they are the main characters,
I like the female narrator more than Steven's performance. He's a bit mono toned. But at-least he speaks clear and smooth.
Then enemy of my enemy is my enemy!
This 2nd book was very good and also kind of short. I wanted more. The ending is a bit odd and I'm guessing there will be a 3rd book, but I'm curious how it will go. I'm also guessing there will probably only be one more book, a trilogy. I do suggest this book series though to people that enjoy dystopian books!
I loved everything about it. At first the male narrator sounds mono tone, but that changes after the first chapter and it gets better.
This book is most like Delirium, Matched, and My Chemical Garden series.
I liked the entire book!
Yes and pretty much did. It was kind of a short book.
I recommend this book for everyone that enjoys dystopian books or if you liked the movie Hunger Games.
Yes, because its funny, action packed, and for adults.
Married With Zombies By Jesse Peterson. Mostly for the adult feel to the stories. But I would say this White Trash Zombie Series is most similar to the TV show True Blood. But for zombies instead of Vampires.
I loved every scene from this book and the entire book series.
Yes and I pretty much did.
This 3rd book was well worth the money and I enjoyed it very much. Its as good as the first 2 books in the series. Adult humor and graphic content.
Yes, since its already hard to pay attention to this dry series of books.
No. This series hasn't kept me on the edge of anything except falling asleep.
They are all the same. Mia is a good and a bad narrator. I can't tell if the book makes the narrator bad or if the narrator makes the book bad.
No for the way this question is intending. But yes so I can finish the dumb book series and never ever go back to it again.
This Greywalker book series is absolutely horrid and I still don't know why.
I think the narrator is good.
I think the book is very well written.
I think the author is extremely knowledgeable.
Maybe its the plot/stories in this book series that I don't like. I find all 3 books so far to be boring and unappealing.
