There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, One because it is a new author I've never read before and because the story is wonderful! It's not the normal story and has lots of unexpected turns..no guessing what's going to happen next in this book! Ray Porter is AMAZING! He had a different voice for each of the many characters and I immediately knew who each one was as soon as he switched! This was the first narrated book that I throughly enjoyed due to his performance and the great plot!

What other book might you compare 14 to and why?

Can't think of any books that have this type of story with fantasy and real world so incredibly mixed in a way that keeps you guessing till the end what's going to happen next!

What does Ray Porter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Great character build up and emotion in each of their voices! Very entertaining and I could picture each one in my head by their voices!

    Any additional comments?

I will definately look for more books by this author and narrated by Ray Porter!

You look good. Your resume is impressive. You fit the job description perfectly. But that's not enough to get the job you want. You need 101 Great Answers before you walk through the door.

What made the experience of listening to 101 Great Answers to the Toughest Interview Questions the most enjoyable?

I turned up the playback speed to 1.5 as it was going a little slow for me, but I still enjoyed listening to it. It has some amazing tips to help you prepare answers for some questions I normally get hung up on. Use the tips!! I used them in my interviews for one company (all three of them) and I was soon filling out employement forms!

    Any additional comments?

I could stand in front of thousands of people and give a speech, but don't put me in an interview and expect me to talk. This changed that. I went into my interviews much more comfortable and had some great answers ready! Buy this book if you want to get the job!

A strange doll is left on Tommy Phan's front steps, stranger than anyone could ever imagine. Later he hears an odd popping sound and is intrigued to find it coming to life. Tommy pursues the thing as it scrambles away, and then is pursued by it as it evolves from a terrifying and vicious manikin into a larger, more formidable opponent bent on killing him. What in the world is this thing and why is it after him?

What did you love best about Tick Tock?

The story was scary! Really scary! I read the book many years ago and had forgotten how much it scared me till listening to it. The little creature is so real the way it's described and scares me still to think about. When the stitches were popping open!!! I don't think I was breathing!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

It never slows down once it gets going! I could't turn it off!

Have you listened to any of Paul Michael’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No

    Any additional comments?

Just buy it if you are an adrenaline junkie like me! It will definately get your pulse going!
