Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, character's voices are close to my imagination

What did you like best about this story?

    Character Depth, plot

What does Khristine Hvam bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She makes characters seem as if jumping off page.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No, but not even finished with listen. Had to write this. Almost, almost as well narrated as Davina Porter, and Outlander series, which is Gold Standard.

    Any additional comments?

Great Listen; I was kind of leery after buying and returning Kim Harrison, Dead Witch Walking (did not like narration), but pleasantly suprised. And money not lost with Audible's return policy.

Being separated from Dragos is painful, but for the good of the Wyr demesne they need to figure out how to be partners, in more places than just the bedroom. In New York to preside over the Sentinel Games, Dragos is worried about his mate, but knows that finding two replacement sentinels is essential to show the rest of the Elder Races just how strong and brutal the Wyr demesne can be.

Would you listen to Lord's Fall again? Why?

    Yes.

What about Sophie Eastlake’s performance did you like?

She is a great narrator, adds life to story

    Any additional comments?

Let me just say, I do NOT like how they ask all of these different questions for reviews. Much better when you can Free Text. This is a Wonderful Book. I have been burned before with great stories that I want to listen to the audible version and have been BADLY BURNED with the exprerience. Not this time. Although I would like for author to have different octaves? diffentiation? between male voices (eg. Dragos, Calendir, The Peanut), this was a very, very good telling of this story. The narrator picks up you up and really puts the story in your mind. I laughed and cried while listening to this story. Listening to this was a very pleasant suprise. I have been avoiding Serpent's Kiss due to bad reviews on Amazon, but not I may give the Audible version a try. WIth the return policy, you can't lose. Enjoyed this latest offering by Thea and Sophie. They nailed it!!!!

Would you try another book from Laini Taylor and/or Davina Porter?

THis is from perspective of someone who LOVES Diana Gabaldon's OUtlander series, and absolutely LOVES what Davina Porter has done with it. So to answer to this is NO.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Faeries of Dreamdark?

    Can't think of one....

Which character – as performed by Davina Porter – was your favorite?

The oldest crow?.... But honestly I am so used to her voice in my head with Outlander, Jamie, Claire that hearing her voice with this narration, did not spark any interest in me.

Could you see Faeries of Dreamdark being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Yes, I could. Laini Taylor is a very, very talented writer. Have no idea...

    Any additional comments?

First off, I think Laini Taylor is an excellent writer. I am a Big fan of the Daughter of Smoke and Bone Trilogy. I bought this book based on that. And since I KNOW Davina Porter is a phenomenal narrator, thought that I would enjoy story. It is a great story, and I may get the kindle edition, but Davina's voice just could not keep my attention, it was offsetting with this story.
