This is the last of the Tucker Max shenanigans. I feel it is the best put together and funniest!
I love the story. Always have.
But I think that hollywood has skewed my perspective on the book, or maybe I didn't completly enjoy the narrator. Because I was not held attentive. I wanted more. I felt it needed more ... something.
I'm not swayed on the author. The idea had potential, I just wasen't hooked into the book like I waned to be. Kind of bland.
Didn't love the book but I didn't hate it either.
If the entire book was like the last thirty minutes, my review would be totally different.
The end of the book grasped my attention and was surprised and happy with the story.
The beginning was dry, but glad that I stayed listening.
Yes. Very Funny.
Some facts/stories are a bit daunting, meaning so many people (myself included) prefer ignorance to the scary facts of life. But overall the book is laugh out loud funny and dare I say: informative!
You didn't know untill now that you wanted to know the 'Five Fun Things That Will Kill You'
The writers at cracked.com did not disappoint!
"Terrifying Truths on Child Birth"
Sometimes the term 'meat balloon' is the best description you can have when someone is bringing life into the world.
Laugh. No doubt made me laugh.
There were a couple snippet like stories on politics that I'd consider a yawn. But, when you jump right into another factoid, or 'bet you didn't know' you completly forget about the little hiccup.
I have and will continue to recommend this book!
Yes. Most certainly.
It's not a guns blazing war book. It's an american hero, husband, son, father, friend ... book.
The scene that entails; balloons, bullets and bad guys.
Not only is this a part of the book only readers get to enjoy vs the movie go-er but it's the story telling side about having a good outlook on some ugly attributes of war.
If time alloted me to do so, I would have.
The book is broken up nicely. So you can enjoy it all at once or in intervals
You have a piece of his job, his personnel life, what his families point of views were then back to his job and life experiences ect.
My only wish would of been having it narrated by Chris Kyle himself.
100% .. having him narrate it made the book even funnier!
He is such an asshole, and it works!
No but I listened to all his audio books back to back, and didn't get bored!
If you like him you should definitely listen to Chelsea Handler's My Horizonal Life, she is the female version of Tucker Maxx!
I don't feel like this is one of those books you re-read (listen)... i enjoyed it, but once you know the details there isn't a suspense factor anymore.
Very good. He kept you hooked.
No, it took some time. The topics aren't something you grab on to when your in certain moods.
I enjoyed this book, the murders and victim contact scenes were extremely detailed. But if your intrigued to these kinda books, it's what your here for.
I bookmarked over a dozen stories to share with my husband and had those 'you have to listen to this' moments, and he was laughing harder than I was!
I loved sharing the stories with my husband!
Alot of her stories I felt were relate-able and without insulting her, she made me feel normal (which is a hard task) and laughed so much listening to her
Laugh, lots and lots of laughs!
I wish she had more books on audible...would buy those in a heartbeat!
Much better than her other book Hi Vodka It's Me Chelsea (which I returned), I loved this book!
The dirty underpants story! Oh my goodness, funny!
First time. I prefer listening to the author of the books but I feel this was properly executed.
No crying, but definitely has the 'oh my, I have to share this' parts which I love
Chelsea is a female version of Tucker Maxx...both I consider a favorite.
