I'm a big fan of SATC but I'm sorry, this book was terrible. It was boring and plotless with one-dimensional characters and a horrible narration. The only reason I listened to the entire thing is because I was on a road trip to and from Chicago with 10 hours of driving to fill- otherwise would have barely made it through the first half. This book underscores the reality that Bushnell had very little to do with the tv show "Sex and the City" which is a good thing. She is a terrible writer and I won't be purchasing anymore of her books!
Beautifully written but so incredibly boring that I don't think I am going to finish it. I am on part three but I don't think I can really take any more. It's a tragedy that nothing at all really happens because Anne Rice is a beautiful writer.
Seriously I was bored to tears with this book.
What is with repeating the same thing over and over and over and over? It honestly me is making me think the author has short term memory loss and forgets how he previously said it the first 25 times and the last time was just in the paragraph prior. It's seriously the same exact thought about the dark passenger in every sequence in the book and it is really becoming grating. I'll probably finish the book as I'm a fan of the Dexter series.
