A Signature Performance: Tim Curry, the source of our inspiration, returns – this time, he captures the quirky enthusiasm of this goofily visionary adventure.

What did you love best about Journey to the Center of the Earth: A Signature Performance by Tim Curry?

I enjoyed the story however the language and names would have been a challenge reading the book. Listening to the book allowed this aspect to not be an issue. Tim Curry did an excellent job of distinguisihing the characters voices. I also love him in the reading of Dracula

After a CIA agent mysteriously dies overseas, his top asset surfaces with a startling and terrifying claim. There’s just one problem - no one knows if she can be trusted. But when six exchange students go missing, two airplane passengers trade places, and one political-asylum seeker is arrested, a deadly chain of events is set in motion.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Brad Thor needs to allow CSNBC and Fox news focus on rhetoric and tell us the story. The author take every opportunity to promote his personal opinion throughout the first 6 chapters which is all I could take.

How could the performance have been better?

The actor sounded wooden and bored throughout the few chapters I was able to struggle through.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

I wasted my time and money. Totally disappointing

    Any additional comments?

I will not bother to read or listen to another Brad Thor novel however I am certain his writing resonates with some.
