I enjoyed this book beginning to end. It provided a wide variety of information, examples and stories about music that anyone could gleam insight from. Very entertaining and educational.
Inspiring and thought provoking! I remember wanting to jog around the entire time I listened to this book. Maybe I should listen to it again to motivate myself in get in shape!
... is the sound of most of this book going over my head. I don't have the heart to give it any thing other than 5 stars because it's Stephen Hawking. Maybe if I listen to it several times I'll start to grasp it.
Good book, well written. Helps you understand what goes on in your head and how to analyze yourself. Basically, mindfulness. It was not all that revolutionary, but if the concept of mindfulness is new to you, this book would provide some new insight to how the brain works.
I never knew (but honestly not surprised) by all the events discussed in the book. This book takes you beyond the history books into what really happened as our culture entered the information age.
Fun book to listen to with a friend. Remembering all the referenced material is half the fun. If you were born after 1985 you may not enjoy this book.
One of my favorite books of all time! His use of examples to explain rather complicated concepts is superb! A wonderful glimpse into how our minds work.
A bit of a psychological thriller, this book taking you on a journey into the mind of psychopaths. Are they all bad? You be the judge!
I suppose for those that have never heard of attachment theory and are having trouble understand relationship mechanics this could be a useful book. But I felt like I didn't learn anything past the first chapter. I kept waiting for new information to be presented.
Interesting topic and discussions. The book as a whole felt scattered and not well put together. Some of the examples of research or findings were used in misleading ways.
