John Corey books always make me laugh because of his sardonic sense of humor

Why we think it’s a great listen: How do you one-up a book that’s already a global literary phenomenon? Hire Simon Vance to (flawlessly) interpret the loves, lives, and murders of Sweden’s cold and secret-filled world. A spellbinding amalgam of murder mystery, family saga, love story, and financial intrigue. It's about the disappearance 40 years ago of Harriet Vanger, a young scion of one of the wealthiest families in Sweden.

Pamela Murphy says: "COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN"

All I can say is WOW! I am a fan. Stieg Larsson is a fabulous writer-I couldn't quit listening.

Detective John Corey now faces his toughest assignment yet: the pursuit and capture of the world's most dangerous terrorist -- a young Arab known as "The Lion" who has baffled a federal task force and shows no sign of stopping in his quest for revenge against the American pilots who bombed Libya and killed his family.

John Robertson says: "What happened to Scott Brick?!!"

Great book! Love John Cory and Scott Brick is him without a doubt! Waited forever for this book and am glad there will be at least one more in the series. Love Nelson Demille and the characters he makes up-they have such a sense of humor that you find yourself laughing outloud in your car as you listen!

The Executive Board of an exclusive men's club meets to talk about 9/11 and finalize a retaliation plan, known by a code name: Wild Fire. That weekend, a member of the Federal Anti-Terrorist Task Force is found dead. It's up to Detective John Corey and his wife, FBI Agent Kate Mayfield, to unravel a terrifying plot that starts with the Custer Hill Club and ends with American cities locked in the crosshairs of a nuclear device.

I really enjoy all his books-they are wonderfully written-with lots of humor when you don,t expect it. His books are ones you can,t put down or if you are listening-you can,t stop listening and get back to what you need to do and the narrater-scott brick is great-the tone of his voice; a smartalic quality seems so real. If I see that he is the narater-I try to read that book because he makes it seem so real.
