Everything but the narrator. More specifically the main character. If this book is what people consider disturbing then they have not read the likes of Stephen King.
Kill You Twice by Chelsea Cain
How about my least favorite - don't get me wrong, the narrarator was great but he made the women sound nagging and annoying.
I just don't know what others saw that was so great about the book. The best part was the fact that the book was from the viewpoint of the killer, but even that was dull. Don't bother is my best advice.
Definitely chick lit...It's a fun, Iight read but not a lot of substance and its fairly predictable. X x
I really enjoyed this audio book for both the narrator and the story line. Tufo developed a great set of characters and his sense of humor in inappropriate times is exactly what this genre needed. It's not too much or too forced, just plain funny. I also really liked how he gave the zombies a life of their own in a way I haven't seen before. Great read and I will definitely be reading more of this series.
Maybe it was my fault for expecting more drama and horror in this book but to me, it was nothing more than a list of events read out loud. If you are looking for a personal account of odd happenings, you might enjoy this book. If you're looking to be scared or enthralled then I think this will be a let down. I also didn't particularly care for the narrator either.
I actually went back and listened to this a second time to see if I missed something because of all the great 'it's so scary" reviews. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad story, it's just NOT scary. The narrator was awesome. I really liked his voice and it's great that this book is downloaded for charity, so should you download it - absolutely. Just don't think it's going to keep you up at night. Enjoy it for what it's worth, a short entertaining story.
