It was a name that caused the most hardened gunmen to break out in a cold sweat: Texas Ranger Chick Bowdrie. Pursuing the most wanted men in the Southwest, he knew all too well the dusty trails, the bitter cattle feuds, the desperate killers, and the quiet, weather-beaten towns that could explode into mayhem with the wrong word. He had sworn to carry out the law, but there were times when he had to apply justice with his fists and his guns.

Dean says: "If you like westerns you'll love it"
    "awsome"
    Overall

this is a wonderful collection of short stories. if you like westerns and lawmen, you'll love this one.

Or so he thought. But Lusitania also harbors the descolada, a virus which kills all humans it infects, but which the pequeninos require in order to transform into adults.

    "horrible"

horrible, horrible. when it's not annoying, it's side tracking to who knows where, leaving you wondering at what point will this story end. skip this one for sure.

    Overall

entertaining but cheap. and i don't mean just in audio, i mean in script as well. cheap, cheap. but the story does unfold and it is entertaining. these two kids get into all kinds of mischief which is something that you wouldn't think that they could do alone on board a ship with talking computers.

When Redwall was published in 1987 it catapulted author Brian Jacques to international stardom. And small wonder! This enthralling tale is jam-packed with the things we long for in a great adventure: danger, laughter, hairbreadth escapes, tragedy, mystery, a touch of wonder, a truly despicable villain, and a hero we can take to heart.

it's ok. nothing special or gripping. but if you just need to kill some time, you could do worse than this one.
