"Loved it!"
It's one of the better ones.
I liked it when the two men said that they'd never walk away from the city and people they loved, when they said they would never quit their jobs, even though the pay wasn't great.
This was a great gift. The stories really touch you. Every one is good. These type of oral histories of regular people are always the most interesting. It would be great if Audible had "Working" by Studs Turkel.
"I really loved that the narrator spoke slowly"
It is one of the better ones. Mainly because the narrator spoke slowly. I wish more of the narrators in audiobooks spoke slowly like this, so you can take every word in.
"The Lakota Way"
Yes, I will listen to it many times. Joseph Marshall's narration is really great. I wish audible could use him to narrate all the books in their catalogue. He speaks slowly and plainly, teaching enduing lessons. I have 75 audiobooks, and this is my favorite. It's more than just stories, oral history, or lessons. The sum is greater than the parts, it's a very beautiful book and special experience.
