Nurse and avid backpacker Aimee Donovan is offered the opportunity of a lifetime. She encounters a patient who tells her he can send her two hundred years into the past to spend three months in the rugged Yellowstone wilderness at the dawn of the mountain man era. The only requirement: she cannot tell anyone that she's from the future.

Susane Kathie Hamilton says: "The Romantic beginning of a FANTASTIC SERIES!!"
"I wish I could rate this 0 stars. It was awful!"

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Better writing and better narration. Both were really, really bad.

Has Yellowstone Heart Song turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, I love romance novels, time travel, historical. This book was just very bad.

Would you be willing to try another one of Alexandra Haag’s performances?

Never! She sounded like a computer-generated female voice. She gave no life to the characters or the story.

    Any additional comments?

I read the reviews before I got this one and I can't believe that anyone liked it so much. The writing seemed so cliche, as if it was a really bad Harlequin romance from the 70's. The very monotonous narration clinched it as the worst use of a credit I have ever done at Audible.
