"Good, not great"
I adore Weiner's style. This was a good story line. Just not as powerful as her first book.
"Good story"
I enjoyed this book and would definitely explore other reads by this author.
"A little disappointing"
I loved another book I purchased by these authors and read by the same narrator. However, I was not as impressed with this book. The narrator portrayed the 7 yr old boy as a 4 yr old. The story line took an "are you kidding me?!" turn. Overall, the story seemed rather disconnected.
"Thoroughly enjoyable"
This book was a thoroughly enjoyable read. It was intricate and well-balanced. Narrator did a fabulous job.
"Alright"
Nothing too brilliant about this story.
"Cute"
Cute story. Would have enjoyed a little more twists and turns perhaps. This seemed the most mild of the Shopaholics...
"Consistently Intruiging"
Jane Green always develops the characters so well. I expected this book to be more dreary, but it was lovely. A lot more occurs within the story than you anticipate. Good listen.
"Fun read"
This was a good story. I'd read this author again.
"great story line!"
This story line was so entailed. It is a very relaxing listen--which is perfect for bedtime stories. However, I listen when on my treadmill. It wasnt ideal for that--harder to follow the details. I havent read Freya North before. Definitely would read other stories by her.
"Rapid Reader"
The narrator speaks far too quickly. I felt like I was in a race to get through the book rather than getting to enjoy it.
