"Spectacular"
You read other books, see movies, hears stories from the few alive that were there but this book is so thorough I will have to buy the printed version some day.
Details
Easy to listen to.
The whole thing. I knew what was going to happen next but there was always something new I hadn't known before.
"Great listen"
I have read and listened to all of the Bernard Cornwell books that I can lay my hands on. I wasn't really into the King Arthur/ Camalot thing so I thought that listening to the audio version would be a good experience. It was different and much more entertaining than I expected. Cornwell is fantastic.
Start with the Winter King, read Enemy of God and finish with Excalibur.
All of the Warlord series and Heretic that I know of.
Durville
Much better that I expected.
"I would like to see a movie made for this book."
Exceptional story from military history.
Enjoyed the whole thintg from the background of the individuals to the battle and afterwards.
Good
Not sure
"Outstanding"
An outstanding account.
More about wanting more Max Hastings.
Too many to choose from.
Impossible to listen to it in one sitting. Maybe if you were flying to europe.
Good for post graduates.
"Pretty good"
This is the eighth book in the series which is very entertaining. Unfortunately the next book is not available in audio formate. The one after that is in audio but its hit and miss from then on. I did read the entire series and I am currently reading the latest book on my kindle. I should say that most of these I read several years ago. As far as ranking I can't decide. It's like one continuous story. Some exciting times, some not so much, but fun and entertaining.
The entire Dewey Lambdin series.
Just the other Lambdin books. He is excellent.
Not for kids.
"Spectacular"
Another installment in the Alan Lewrie series. Addiction.
Don't remember any one thing that sticks out. I'm sad when the book ends and can't wait for another to start.
He is an excellent narrator.
Alan Lewrie of course
"Book number three is just as good as the first two"
I had read this book about seven years ago while recovering from surgery. I read everything in the series that I could buy at the B & N store down the street and around the corner. I ordered all the books they didn't have from someplace else (don't remember). So much has changed in the years since then.
The characters that come and go are well developed. The action is well discribed.
No favorite.
