What disappointed you about The Drowning Girl?

    It was boring.

What could Caitlin R. Kiernan have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Nothing, it wasn't her fault it was a bad book.

Have you listened to any of Suzy Jackson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but it wasn't the narrator

What character would you cut from The Drowning Girl?

    All of them

    Any additional comments?

The beginning of the story was very interesting, but I felt it died in the middle and just got weird and didn't go anywhere. Waste of time!

Catherine has been enjoying the single life for long enough to know a good catch when she sees one. Gorgeous, charismatic, spontaneous – Lee seems almost too perfect to be true. And her friends clearly agree, as each in turn falls under his spell. But there is a darker side to Lee. His erratic, controlling and sometimes frightening behaviour means that Catherine is increasingly isolated. Driven into the darkest corner of her world, and trusting no one, she plans a meticulous escape.

Would you try another book from Elizabeth Haynes and/or David Thorpe and Karen Cass ?

    NO

    Any additional comments?

THE FIRST HALF OF THE BOOK WENT OVER AND OVER THE MAIN CHARACTER'S OCD... OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER. THIS BOOK WAS COMPARED TO "GONE GIRL", NOT EVEN CLOSE! I GAVE IT A TRY B/C MOST OF THE REVIEWS ALSO DIDN'T LIKE THE BEGINNING, BUT SEEMED TO LOVE THE ENDING. THE ONLY THING GREAT ABOUT THE ENDING WAS THAT THIS HORRIBLE WASTE OF TIME WAS OVER!
