All over the world, brutal attacks are crippling entire cities. Jackson Oz, a young biologist, watches the escalating events with an increasing sense of dread. When he witnesses a coordinated lion ambush in Africa, the enormity of the violence to come becomes terrifyingly clear. With the help of ecologist Chloe Tousignant, Oz races to warn world leaders before it's too late. The attacks are growing in ferocity, cunning, and planning, and soon there will be no place left for humans to hide.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

This is the first book by James Patterson that I have listened to via audio book. I was really looking forward to this book because two of my coworkers recommended it. Sadly, the narration is so poorly done I dont think Im going to be able to listen to more than a few chapters. I guess I will have to get a hard copy and read it. What a shame.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    Disappointment

Marooned on a tropical island, alone in a world of uncharted possibilities, and devoid of adult supervision or rules, a group of British boys begins to forge a society with its own unique rules and rituals.

What disappointed you about Lord of the Flies?

I agree with many of the other reviews and really wish I would have read them before purchasing the book. This is one of those books that has been on my must read/must listen to list. This is the worst narration Ive ever heard and had to stop listening to the book all together. Ive been an Audible listener for a few years and have listened to nearly 100 books and I must say that this is the worst narration Ive come across. I would say that authors should stick to writing but I just listened to a Neil Gaiman book that he narrated himself and it was awesome!
