Called by H.L. Mencken, "one of the few economists in history who could really write," Henry Hazlitt achieved lasting fame for his brilliant but concise work. In it, he explains basic truths about economics and the economic fallacies responsible for unemployment, inflation, high taxes, and recession.

Kenrick says: "Truly an amazing work."
    "A great primer on economics"

If you've ever wondered about the effects of government intervention in the economy and why they continue to try failed policies, this is the book for you.

    Highly recommended.

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

What did you love best about The Hunger Games?

A fascinating twist on The Lottery, where the winner kills or gets killed. Almost like the draft.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Peeta was my favorite. As a man, I can relate to his unrequited love for Katniss. It was a wonderfully tragic love story.

What about Carolyn McCormick???s performance did you like?

She put me right into the story. It was like being there myself. A great performance!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Kill, or be loved?

    Any additional comments?

For me, the mark of a great story is that I can't wait for part 2!
