"Wow"
Listen, I am not a lover of "Chick Lit", but this book caught my eye one time and I thought I would give it a try. I was totally surprised at how good it was and how much I enjoyed this book. After reading I also got the other "Sophie Katz" mystery written by Kyra Davis and liked that one as well. These books have way more going for them than just "Chick Lit". Would recommend them to anyone who likes good writing.
"Peasanty Surprised"
I am not a fan of John Grisham. This book looked good to me in spite of that and I ended up enjoying it immensely. While it did have the trademark character out of nowhere that really had no place in the story which always drives me crazy, I found this book to be really quite enjoyable.
"Very Funny"
I stumbled across this book and loved it. After reading this very funny book, I have gone and read 3 more by the author. All are very funny, however this is by far the best.
"Great History"
Came to this book after watching the TV show "Rome" and wanting to know more about Augustus. Was enthralled from the opening throughout the entire book.
The highest compliment I can give is that immediately after finishing this book, I looked to see if there were any other books written by the Author, Anthony Everitt, or read by the narrator, John Curless.
